Coena installs straight from your browser on phones, tablets and computers. It opens full screen with its own icon, updates itself, and keeps everyone's devices in sync.
Install
No app store needed.
iPhone and iPad
Safari
- 1Open app.coena.app in Safari and sign in.
- 2Tap the Share button.
- 3Choose Add to Home Screen, then Add.
Notifications on iPhone need iOS 16.4 or later and Coena added to the Home Screen.
Android
Chrome
- 1Open app.coena.app in Chrome and sign in.
- 2Tap Install app when Chrome offers it, or ⋮ → Add to Home screen → Install.
Once installed, Coena appears in Android's share sheet for links and text.
Mac
Safari, Chrome or Edge
- 1Safari: open app.coena.app, then File → Add to Dock.
- 2Chrome or Edge: click the install icon at the right of the address bar.
Windows and Chromebook

- 1Open app.coena.app.
- 2Click the install icon in the address bar, or ⋮ → Install Coena.
Coena needs an internet connection to load and save your kitchen. There's no App Store or Google Play version yet; the installed web app is the same Coena with the same account.
Claude
Add Coena to Claude
Optional, and it takes a minute. Then you can save recipes and manage your lists from any Claude chat.
- 1. In Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
- 2. Name it Coena and paste this URL:

3. Click Connect, sign in to Coena if asked, and choose Allow.
